has been a difficult transition for me because...
...it is such a hard transition from working in my bed at different angles (laying down, on my side, on top of the heating vent, etc.) to being forced to sit upright at my desk.
...i need to focus on my task at hand. right now i need to finish writing a speech/powerpoint for my boss but i just want to work on a job application. but obviously i cant just work on whatever i feel like, becuase im at work, not at school, and my schedule isnt 100% mine.
...not getting graded on the assignments i hand in. i just sort of get vague feedback and im like "...YES BUT WHAT DO YOU REALLY THINK." its hard, i think. you háve to decide for yourself what is "a" quality work or not, and when "a" quality work is even necessary.
...uni/school was so social, but my work here is all research and independent. it was nice to bounce ideas off a group of people (my class) at school, but now i basically work alone. i can, and do, discuss things with my boss and my one coworker, but its not the same.
...having to think every night what im going to pack for lunch the next day gets old really fast too. i arrive at home at around 6, then i unpack a bit, then maybe clean up a bit, then cook (if i havent already gone shopping), then i clean up from cooking (thanks to my apartment that doesnt have a dishwasher), and then its already 10pm, then i try to do something useful like sending long overdue emails and then ´fall asleep. lather, rinse, repeat.

+1 to physical constraints when at the office. a vast proportion of frustrations i feel at the office are due to the fact that i physically have to be *there* and sitting at a desk (ok, the couch is my one escape). The fluidity of college's schedules and locations really made me feel more alert and satisfied.
I also agree with everything else -- graded feedback, social surroundings, the difference between doing something to get it done or doing it for self-fulfillment. lots of this was my inspiration for writing my post about how to be a cool old person! i.e. move, change, learn!
