roommates

the first few weeks i was here i had an austrian living in my apartment. then he moved out, and a french girl moved in. she's moving out at the end of march...

my austrian roommate came back (from switzerland) to visit today and he started playing his piano (stored in my room) and it was nice. "just like old times," i thought.

then i walked into the bathroom and saw the toilet seat UP. just like old times indeed...

in germany it's [apparently] common for men to sit down when using the toilet. they may be onto something...?
