thanks to all my travels and a deutsche bahn employee who insisted that i sign up for the 'points' plan, i had 750 "bonus" points attached to my discount rail travel card (bahncard50) in germany.
last week i redeemed these points. on my behalf, the deutsche bahn will plant 10 trees in their special forest. sustaining the forests that have inspired hundreds of years of german romanticism/poetry/identity questions AND help the environment? sign me up...!
