my uncle teaching my grandfather how to use a cell phone. the efforts were somewhat in vain, since my grandfather is still confused by the whole thing.
ive been trying to guide my grandfather in using the computer. it's really funny how so many things that are intuitive to me (when to double versus single click, for example) are actually difficult to explain simply with minimum rules. i wanted to set up mozilla thunderbird for him, but that didnt work, and then i wanted to set up outlook for him (so he doesnt have to bother with the web for email), but he didnt want to deal with the computer on that day. but by some luck, internet explorer doesnt log him out of his email, so all he has to do is just open it and click on "gmail" at the top. i guess next trip i can configure outlook :-(
