web 2.0 is dead

a recent tweet from my web 2.0 friend...

-why does twitter mix german and english? why do all programs do this?
-why is twitter so lame? "retweeting @dotdean" implies that you are recycling a message directed at dotdean. instead, it means "retweeting what dotdean said" but in order to get "dotdean" as a link, you have to have the MISLEADING @ sign in front of it. it still confuses me when i read tweets.
-voting about what to live blog? the whole thing is just so participatory it makes me kind of sick. just pick a session! and who is sitting at their computer reading live blogs anyway, other than fellow web 2.0 people? i think at a point social media geeks are just too much...
