a friend, who also once spent a year in berlin, said: "The spring is really miraculous in Berlin, kind of like emerging from the depths of hell to, well, anywhere."
a co-intern at the dgap said that springtime in berlin is amazing because as students, you arrive in the fall, and the weather just gets worse, and more depressing. and then comes this gorgeous weather that you've waited all year for.
the past few days have just been fabulous and have put me in such a good mood.
