paris is a great city with fabulous food! it's not that the recipes are super unique (since many dishes can be found in other places), but that the food is SO FRESH. except for the bread/croissants which are fabulous because it is fresh and because...they just are.
everything in paris is trendy, including the signs for the metro. speaking of which...i was chatting with a guy who worked "in fashion" and i was asking him if he could recommend where i might go shopping. he looked down at my feet, then looked up and asked "to buy new jeans?" SHAME!!
i guessed these "benches" were to keep homeless people from sleeping in the subway stations. or to be just full of style even for public furniture.

street art...in paris! (haha just put '...in paris' at the end of any sentence and it automatically sounds better. :))
pompidou museum. the concept inside is cool - there are no walls, so it can rearrange the museum's collections according to the size of new/rotating exhibits.
me and my hostttt. bisous! omg i was so overwhelmed by the eurokisses/kuesschen in paris.
